Vogt Read & Download Moments We Forget Thatcher Sisters #2 Teal her chance to shineNow Jillian's on the road to recovery after finally finishing chemo and radiation but residual effects of the treatment keep her from reclaiming her life as she'd hoped And just when her dreams might be falling into place a life altering revelati. This was an enjoyable inspirational women s fiction read This is book 2 in the Thatcher sisters series While I think the story COULD be told as a stand alone this series is best read in order Book 1 was from the perspective of the youngest Thatcher sister Payton This book is from the perspective of the middle sister Jillian with some 3rd person perspective chapters on both Payton and Johanna the oldest Thatcher sister I enjoyed the 3rd person additions as it allowed the reader to see how Payton s story continued and also to get some additional insight on Johanna I look forward to her book nextAs a fellow middle child I can fully relate to Jillian and how she feels that she is JUST Jillian nothing special I enjoyed how as she developed her faith that perspective lessened a bit and her husband has helped with that as well I liked seeing their relationship grow and how the cancer that she d been diagnosed with in book 1 had affected her after treatment as well As I mentioned in my review for the first book this is a bit of a different type of Christian fiction as none of the main characters are Christians at the beginning Payton had started exploring faith at the end of book 1 and that continues throughout this book In spite of that though the faith thread is still strong in this one This is a great book about learning in faith and dealing with some hard things Ms Vogt throws some heavy topics in this one but handles them with care and ease I recommend this bookseries to fans of deep topic books inspirational women s fiction and books that include difficult family dynamics
